Fourth Trimester Care
An ACOG recommended format of care to provide the growing family with support from your medical provider in your home.
We function as the pediatrician for your baby and follow a routine schedule for newborns. 24-72 hours after discharge (or birth if home birth), 1-2 week well visit and 1 month well visit.
We are able to assess your baby at home with all the same tools we have in the office. Birth parents support is provided by facilitating discussion around the recovery from birth, feeding support (breast or otherwise) and making way for the birth of your newest version of family.
